I’m only giving this store a 2 due to the fact that the store employees were great when I bought my treadmill and the managers have tried to help me with my situation. I bought a treadmill almost a month ago now. When the technician dropped it off they put 2 of the same handles on it. The handles have rollers. The right one to control speed and the left to control incline. There are 2 right handles on my treadmill. So one is backward/sideways. The technician took pictures and said he would report the issue and fix the problem. After calling the store 5 times and speaking with the managers, they finally sent a technician out. However, today is the second day they have cancelled delivery due to “inclement weather”. Do I understand that the roads may be bad? Yes. Would I expect a call prior to the time slot they gave me? Yes!! This has been a very aggravating experience.

We just visited this store to get a woman’s multi layer winter jacket. Nobody was available to wait on us tho we saw few staff members moving around within the store. When we asked one of them simply showed us to check at their 2nd floor where no one was around. After wasting our time for 30 mins or so, we left and going to order from Amazon same brand this store carries (Columbia). No wonder Amazon is eating their lunch and many other brick & mortar stores. Deeply disappointed by Dick’s service at this location.

For sporting equipment, the Novi Dicks generally has good selection. However, their bike selection is absolutely horrible, especially for children. I tried to ask an employee about their child bike selection, and he didn't even stop walking, just waved his hand in the direction of the bikes and said they were there. Will not be returning.

If I could rate the customer service at the Dick’s Sporting Goods in Novi, Michigan a zero, I would. I came in looking for help with walking shoes, and the experience was extremely disappointing. All four employees working in the shoe area had no personality, showed no interest in helping us, and when they finally did acknowledge us, they barely spoke a word. It felt like we were an inconvenience rather than customers. Terrible customer service — definitely not what I expected from Dick’s.

I went to Dick's to buy a golf bag. I was helped by an older gray-haired salesperson whose name was Mark. Couldn't have been a nicer, or better informed salesperson. Mark spent at least 20 minutes with me. The bag he recommended was perfect, but was more than I wanted to spend right now. The interaction ended with "no problem. Come back whenever you're ready." My kind of service, but I didn't expect it.
