At Twisted Gi Jiu Jitsu Academy, our mission is to provide a safe and supportive environment where students can learn the art of Jiu Jitsu while improving their physical fitness, mental focus, and overall well-being. We believe that martial arts training is a powerful tool for personal growth and self-improvement. Lastly, we are committed to helping our students achieve their goals.
Our instructors are highly trained and experienced in many other martial arts and grappling arts. They have earned the ability to teach by attending classes on good ways to instruct both kids and adults. We are dedicated to helping students of all levels achieve their goals and become the best they can be.
We offer a variety of programs to suit the needs of students of all ages and skill levels, including kids classes, adult classes, and private lessons. Our programs are designed to help students develop physical fitness, mental focus, and self-defense skills.
Professor Joe Sveska has been training in the martial arts since 1992. He started learning Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2012, began teaching in 2014 and earned his Black Belt in 2022. All of the Jiu Jitsu belts earned were from Professor Antwan Fresh, a 3rd degree Black Belt under Master Joe Moreira.
