We started there just looking for self defense.
But what we got was so much more.
They emphasize and live courage confidence perseverance and self discipline.

Rebecca Matejcik5 StarMy son is terribly shy, it’s been very hard to get him involved in anything because he is so withdrawn and we have yet to find a more welcoming environment or one who handles the challenge of a shy child better than WCIMA. After just a few classes he seems to trust the instructor and is willing to participate. We did a year of swim lessons and this kid could still drown in a kiddie pool because he just was t having it. From the front desk to the classroom all the employees have been lovely and we appreciate them.Friday 8th March 2024
Marshall Finley2 StarDO NOT SIGN CONTRACT. My daughters lost interest in the sport due to the gym focusing on their own “tournament”and having their learning left in the hands of blackbelts who were all under the age of 16 and could hardly do the actions they were responsible for “teaching”. The good thing is as long as you pay your kids will advance regardless of skill level or understanding of the material. They will not let you out of the contract and will threaten sending you to collections so make sure you are fully committed before signing anything from them.Monday 30th October 2023
Alexandria Ridley5 StarCan't say enough great things about this place..we started here on a sort of trial through my son's old school in Livonia and knew shortly after that we'd be sticking around. The instructors are patient & encouraging yet serious and stick to expectations. It's amazing how the students learn and grow throughout the program. The facility is clean and they are very organized about things. We've since moved about an hour away and still make the drive. Huge thanks to Grandmaster Pitcher, Master Watson, Mrs. Westfall and the rest of the incredible staff here for everything!Monday 22nd May 2023
